In an effort to promote collaboration in the development of power measurement technology, Senical Ltd from Portsmouth and Lateral Eco Parks based in Chester, have this week, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU outlines their plans to work together to expand their relationship, as well as explore ways to improve collaboration to meet the needs and challenges faced byLateral Eco Parks in their plans to develop a new Bio Mass facility based in Anglesey, North Wales.

In October this year, after a two year process, Lateral successfully exchanged contracts on the former aluminium smelting works. Lateral Eco Parks have plans to create a world leading Bio Mass plant alongside an Eco Park on the former Rio Tinto site.

“The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Lateral Eco Parks is a significant moment in the development of Senical,” said Roy Hope, Senical COO. “After meeting with Sean McCormick, Lateral‘s CEO, at their Chester head office, we immediately understood his passion and drive to create a truly sustainable power generating facility utilising the Anglesey site. With our power sensing technology, we hope to be able to provide cutting edge solutions which will be custom made for the specific projects as they develop.”
