HOW IT WORKS

A typical home entertainment system - TV, DVD, digital TV receiver and hi-fi – are devices that have a standby feature which offers the user a degree of convenience, from standby the device can be switched on and back to standby by remote control. In the standby state, these devices may still be drawing significant levels of power incurring cost and wasting energy. This unnecessary electrical consumption could be stopped by turning off and/or unplugging the appliances when not in use.

There is no need for plugs or timers to be set. Just simply follow the four step process to stick the cover over the standby button on the remote control and after the adhesive sets - the standby button is no longer available to use. Please take care once the adhesive backing is revealed, try not to touch the adhesive coating when positioning the cover. After fitting, avoid excessive contact with the button cover in the first 24 hours to ensure a firm bond over the standby button.
