Q: What is Ban The Button?
A: Ban The Button provides a supply of hard plastic covers which stick over the standby button on remote control units thereby disabling the use of the standby function. Simple to fit, does not use any electrical power, is environmentally friendly and, mostimportantly, will SAVE YOU MONEY.

Q: What are the standby button covers made from?
A: Hard ABS plastic that is sturdy and won’t buckle or collapse when pressure is applied to it, which means that you can’t depress the standby button by accident, for example by dropping the remote control unit on the floor or sitting on it.

Q. How secure are the standby button covers when stuck onto remote controls?
A. The adhesive used is able to absorb grease and therefore no preparation and cleaning of surface area is required beforehand, provided you press firmly on the standby button cover for at least 30 seconds when putting in place over the standby button and avoid excessive contact for 24 hours. 

After this period, the button cover should stay in place when the remote control is handled in a normal fashion, if for any reason you do wish to remove the standby button cover, then applying significant pressure to the sidewall should dislodge the cover from the remote control unit.

Q. How many remote control units will a Ban The Button pack provide covers for?
A. One Ban The Button pack contains a simple framed supply of 20 standby button covers in assorted shapes and sizes. In many cases, just one Ban The Button pack contains enough covers to disable the use of the standby buttons on the main remote control units that are used in the typical home entertainment system.

A.
