The RAV AMR solution from Senical can easily be installed on existing meters with the minimum of fuss and almost no technical skills required.

Installation is a simple process of removing some backing paper and pressing the unit onto the meter face using the supplied template guide*. Initialisation is also a simple matter of selecting the GPRS provider, switching on the unit and confirming that the first reading has been successful.

Tamper Proof Design

Because the RAV AMR takes an image of the meter reading, it has had a tamper proofing device incorporated into it to ensure that the opportunist cannot easily create a false reading. Whilst this will not stop someone determined to defraud you (what can?); it acts as a suitable deterrent to the layman and at the same time makes it obvious if anyone has tried and failed to defraud you, a valuable tool to have.

Low Ownership Costs

Because each unit runs from readily available, recyclable, batteries that last for up to 5 years (based on taking a monthly reading), and use the existing GPRS network to relay information, they are very cheap to run. In fact, over the course of a 5 year lifetime the unit could cost as little as £8.50 to own**, providing regular readings direct to your organisation.
